Judge Certifies Lawsuit Against Boise Area Real Estate Agencies

A class action lawsuit against several real estate agencies in Boise, Idaho was certified by a U.S. District judge. The lawsuit alleges that the agencies charge commissions on the sale of land and the eventual build of a house in a practice called "tying".

The suit names Coldwell Banker Aspen Realty, Holland Realty, Sel-Equity, and Park Pointe Realty. Thousands of Boise-area home buyers are participating in the lawsuit.
