A class action lawsuit has been filed in the Southern District Court of Ohio against Bob Taft for violations of civil right law. Class members seek declaratory and injunctive relief.

Specifically, the complaint alleges that youths and disabled children from the ages of seven (7) to twenty-one (21), who have a history of involvement with the juvenile or adult court systems, have been denied a proper and free education in public schools after being discharged from court-ordered settings.

Note: The plaintiffs' names are not revealed in the complaint because they are juveniles.
