Specifically, the complaint alleges that Regina Ray began her employment with Levi's in May, 2001 and that she worked approximately 85 hours per week as a financial advisor, but was not paid for hours worked over 40 per week as required by the FLSA for non-exempt employees. In addition to unpaid wages, Ray seeks $500,000 in punitive damages.
