A class action has been filed against MSC Development, Inc., (MSC), a cosmetic teeth whitening company in Fort Worth, Texas and its President and Director, by a former employee who alleges that she was not paid overtime hours according to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

A class action has been filed against American Family Mutual Insurance Company, (AmFam) an insurance company that sells automobile insurance and employs more than 8,100 employees nationwide, for improperly classifying employees and failing to pay overtime compensation in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The class members seek compensatory damages, attorney’s fees and costs.

A class action lawsuit has been filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against South Florida Wellness Center. The case involves violations of Federal Labor law. A nationwide class action has been filed in Georgia against publishing giant Primedia, Inc. and its subsidiary Haas Publishing Companies, Inc. The action is brought on behalf of all employees who are beyond the age of 40 and have been either terminated from employment, or forced to resign, as a result of age discrimination. The action is brought under the federal Age Discrimination Employment Act and seeks compensatory and statutory damages as well as injunctive and declaratory relief.
